New Delhi (15.10.2022): The Congress appears to be in a complete makeover drive. A new non-Gandhi Congress president will take up the job after October 17, 2022. Shashi Tharoor, if not elected Congress president, is likely to be anointed as leader of the party in the Lok Sabha as Rahul Gandhi insisted on one person one post when Ashok Gehlot wanted both posts – party President and Rajasthan CM. Adhir Ranjan Choudhary will have to resign from the post of party leader in the Lok Sabha as he is chief of PCC, West Bengal. Leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge already resigned in view of getting elected as party president so a new leader in the Upper House too is expected.
A complete makeover for the Congress in the offing!
