New Delhi (06.03.2023): In the case of Civil services aspirants, Delhi remains elusive for most of them but the success of Govind Jaiswal (IAS: 2007: AGMUT) has inspired filmmaker Kamal Chandra to make a movie on his life. The director is making a film titled Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, the biopic is based on the life of an IAS officer who is indeed an example of hard work and dedication.
Actually, bureaucrats are expected to perform their duty in an anonymous manner because the sudden limelight has proved to be counterproductive. The case of Amit Lodha (IPS: 1998: BH) whose book the Bihar Diaries’Netflix avatar 'Khakee: The Bihar Chapter,' has become a rage. But the controversy surrounding this caused him dear. The same is the case with Abhishek Singh (IAS: 2011: UP) who dabbled into modeling and appeared in a video album neglecting his duty and met the same fate.
