As Indianmandarins had reported first on September 10 the NaMo administration on Monday cleared the appointment of 25 senior IAS officers to the post of Additional Secretary as follows:

 

Ms. Anita Bhatnagar Jain (IAS:1985:UP), presently in the cadre, appointed to the post of Secretary, Central Information Commission in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.

 

Tarun Kapoor (IAS:1987:HP), presently in the cadre, appointed as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary on superannuation of Shri Udai Pratap Singh, IAS (JH:84) on 30.09.2018.

 

Sudhanshu Panday (IAS:1987:JK) appointed to the post of Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce. Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.

 

Gyanesh Kumar (IAS:1988:KL) appointed Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs MHA). Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary (J&K) in MHA.

Govind Mohan (IAS:1989:SK) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs by temporarily upgrading the post of Joint Secretary which he holds at present.

 

Dr. Dharmendra Singh Gangwar (IAS:1988:BH) appointed to the post of Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Culture. Currently he serves as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

 

Jatindra Nath Swain (IAS:1988:TN), the incumbent Managing Director, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, was, on Monday, given Additional Secretary rank.

 

Ms. Alka Tiwari (IAS:1988:JH) appointed Additional Secretary, Department of Fertilizers by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Director in Department of Pharmaceuticals. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers. Her appointment (dated 30.06.2018) as Secretary, CVC was cancelled.

 

Devesh Chaturvedi (IAS:1989:UP) appointed Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare (DoAC&FW) . Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, DoAC&FW.

K Rajaraman (IAS:1989TN) appointed to the post of Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA). Currently, he serves as JS, DEA.

 

Lok Ranjan (IAS:1989:TR) appointed to the post of Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT). Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary, DOPT.

K. Srinivas (IAS:1989:GJ) appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) by temporarily upgrading the post. Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, DOPT.

Ms. Sujata Chaturvedi (IAS:1989:BH), presently in the Cadre, appointed Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training by temporarily upgrading a post of Joint Secretary.

Ms. Anita Praveen (IAS:1989:TN) appointed Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Posts. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.

 

Shiv Das Meena (IAS:1989:TN) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Currently he serves as Joint Secretary, MoHUA.

 

Dharmendra (IAS:1989:TN) appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

 

Sameer Kumar Khare (IAS:1989:AM) appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs by temporarily upgrading the post of Joint Secretary which he holds at present.

 

Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS:1989:MH) was in-situ elevated to Additional Secretary rank. Currently he serves as Director General (Training), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Director General, NIESBUD.

 

Rajesh Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:KL) was, on Monday, elevated (in-situ) to the rank of Additional Secretary. Currently, he serves as Chief Vigilance Officer, Food Corporation of India in JS level.

 

Dr Rakesh Sarwal (IAS:1988:TR), presently in the cadre, appointed to the post of Additional Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries. His appointed (dated 02.05.2018) as earlier Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare was cancelled.

Edwin Kulbhushan Majhi (IAS:1989:KL) appointed as as Additional Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution (DoF&PD) by temporarily upgrading the post. Currently he serves as Joint Secretary DoF&PD.

 

Sunil Barthwal (IAS:1989:BH) elevated (in-situ) to Additional Secretary rank. Currently, he serves as Central Provident Fund Commissioner in Joint Secretary rank.

 

Rajeev Ranjan (IAS:1989:MP) appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure by temporarily upgrading the post of Joint Secretary which he holds at present.

 

Arun Kumar (IAS:1989:HY) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation by temporarily upgrading the Joint Secretary level post which he holds at present.

 

K. Sanjay Murthy (IAS:1989:HP) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary, MoHUA.
