Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the empanelment of 1985 batch IPS officers for DG rank posts in Govt of India may take place soon. Reportedly, the final proposal has already been sent for ACC ratification.
Sources said 12 officers may hope for empanelment as DG whereas five officers have been considered for empanelment to hold DG equivalent posts.
In total, 23 officers are said to have joined the league for empanelment since the process had started.
