1982 batch IAS to celebrate reunion at LBSNAA to mark 40 yrs of service

4828New Delhi (03.03.2022): The 1982-batch IAS officers will hold a reunion at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) on 3-4 June to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their service. Some of them may avail of the optional third-day stay on 5 June. Top bureaucrat of the batch and current Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba may also grace the occasion and be part of his batchmates on the reunion day. Indianmandarins has learned that of 109 officers (serving & retired), 65 have confirmed their participation whereas nine have regretted their absence for pressing reasons with some of them pre-scheduled to undertake foreign trips. Interestingly, the tentative program suggests that horse riding may be among the daring sports activity. The 2nd day (concluding day) of the reunion would mark the evening (called Dinner + Hungama at LBSNAA) will reportedly be coordinated by former Union Tourism Secretary Ms. Rashmi Verma and former Chief Secretary of UP Deepak Singhal.
