The much awaited empanelment review of 1986 batch IAS officers takes place today which includes one name from 1985 batch as well. Accordingly, five officers have been empanelled to be posted as Additional Secretary or Additional Secretary equivalent namely; Anil Kumar Jain (MP cadre), Sanjeev Kaushal (Haryana cadre), Mukul Singhal (UP cadre), Atul Chaturvedi (Assam-Meghalay), P D Vaghela (Gujarat cadre). Similarly, four officers from the same batch are empanelled as Additional Secretary Equivalent namely; Shambhu Singh (Manipur Cadre), Ravi Capoor (Assam-Meghalay cadre) Satbir Bedi (UT Cadre) and J Suresh Babu (Manipur cadre). In addition, A Santosh Mathew (1985 batch, Bihar cadre) has also been empanelled as Additional Secretary equivalent.
