With the completion of Amit Singla’s term as Counsellor in the Permanent Mission of India to the World Trade Organization (WTO), Geneva falls vacant. Reportedly, he may be appointed as Secretary, NDMC vice Dr Rashmi Singh who is expected to be made Additional Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation (North-DMC). Singla is 2003 batch IAS officer of UT cadre.
