West Bengal: A minor reshuffle of IPS officers

Kolkata (06.05.2022): The West Bengal government has enacted a minor reshuffle of IPS officers. These officers included:

Jayanta Kumar Basu has been appointed as ADG and IGP provisioning.
Natrajan Ramesh Babu (IPS: 1991: WB) has been appointed as Director, Directorate of Economic Offences in the rank of ADG.
Gyanwant Singh (IPS: 1993: WB) has been appointed as ADG &IGP, STF.
R Rajshekaran (IPS: 1997: WB) has been appointed as ADG & IGP, CID.
Manoj Kumar Verma (IPS: 1998: WB) has been appointed as CP Barrackpore Police Commissionerate with additional charge of IGP, ACB.
Biswajit Ghosh (IPS: 2009: WB) has been appointed as DC, DD, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.
Arijit Sinha (IPS: 2013: WB) has been appointed as SP, Jhargram Police District.
