The NaMo administration on Wednesday appointed J Venkatramu (candidate on the reserve list) as MD & CEO of India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) for a period of three years. Presently he is working as Chief Digital Officer, Equitas Small Finance Bank. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched IPPB in 2018.
