Lucknow (03.10.2022): The Uttar Pradesh government has reinstated two IPS officers who were suspended for various reasons. Pawan Kumar (IPS: 2009: UP) who was posted in Ghaziabad when action was taken against him. Anant Dev Tiwari (IPS: 2006: UP) posted in Kanpur was suspended after the Bikru incident in Kanpur took place in which 8 policemen were killed. No new posting has been given to them so far.
