638The SC Collegium, led by CJI Justice S A Bobde, on April 18, recommended the name of Justice Dipankar Datta (Judge, Calcutta High Court) for appointment as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Similarly, Justice Biswanath Somadder (Judge, Allahabad High Court) was recommended for appointment as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court. Further, Justice Mohammad Rafiq (Chief Justice, Meghalaya HC) was recommended for transfer to the Orissa High Court.
