The General Body meeting of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd. (TRIFED), held on 25th May, in which the 11th Board of Directors was reconstituted and the Office Bearers were elected unanimously. Ramesh Chand Meena was elected as the Chairperson and Mrs Pratibha Brahma was elected as the Vice Chairperson of TRIFED. The incumbent TRIFED MD Pravir Krishna (IAS:1985:MP) underlined that under the new board TRIFED will continue its march on the road to tribal empowerment. The new Board of Directors stressed upon a sustained effort to execute the vision of TRIFED of overall development for tribal people of India through sustainable and comprehensive marketing support of their products and achieving convergence and coherence with other development partners working in this field to enhance their income and improve the quality of their life.
