Founded on September 27, 1925, in Nagpur, the Hindutva outfit has come a long way as it worked through a myriad of the front and subterranean organizations in the field of education, trade union, fisherman, weavers, tribal, Dalits, and bankers and industrialists. Since the wave of liberalization and globalization hit the shores of India in 1991 onwards, it vigorously took up the cause of Swadeshi. Both the successes of 2014 national elections and 2017 UP provincial elections are attributed to its innovative ways over the last 90 years to create a Hindu identity through an ingenious social engineering that has catapulted the downtrodden castes and neglected social groups of yesteryears into positions of political power without inviting the backlash from upper castes. Despite the day and night crowing of foreign-educated liberals, most of whom have an amazing and easy access to the dollar and Rupee accounts to take care of their corrupt and incestuous lifestyle and advance the project of breaking India (as exposed by scientist and scholar Rajiv Malhotra), the Sangh has been stubbornly pushing the agenda of "one country, one law, and one aspiration." It may or may not have much control over BJP, VHP, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Bajarang Dal, Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh, Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad, Vidya Bharati and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh - to name a few, but it does have a moral sway over their functioning being the oldest Hindutva outfit. Considering the Sangh's role as a friend, philosopher, and guide of a host of Hindutva organizations and its undoubted shadow over the government, we have decided to familiarize our esteemed and learned readers with the top 10 in its hierarchy. At the apex of the pyramid is the sixth Sarsanghchalak Mohan Rao Bhagwat. Under his guidance, the organization has grown by leaps and bounds following its agenda for the unity of the Indian people in the 2014 national elections cut through the casteist, communal and divisive agendas of local and regional chieftains. In the internal power struggle that preceded NaMo's rise in the BJP, the RSS chief put his weight behind the man who was slandered for 12 long years as a mass murderer by TV and print media power brokers. Bhagwat, like his predecessors, has always remained steadfast and stubborn in his faith in Hindutva; and as his support for NaMo shows, there is no way he can be lured into any stand other than that of Hindutva. There is a reason to it: he hails from a family of generation of RSS activists and from his childhood, he has breathed nothing but the philosophy of Hindutva. His activism has packed the ranks of the Sangh with modern generation technocrats ranging from defense scientists to IT professionals. The Sangh has expanded to over 55000 shakhas (units) and aims to plant these shakhas in every village of the country. In this context, Indianmandarins.com has closely looked at the 10 most important lieutenants of Bhagwat, who are helping him execute his plans. They include Suresh (Bhaiyaji) Joshi, Suresh Soni, Dattatreya Hosabale, Dr. Krishna Gopal, Manmohan Vaidya, J Nand Kumar, Bjranglal Gupta, Sunil Ambekar, Rakesh Sinha and Indresh Kumar.
