New Delhi (14.10.2022): In an attempt to get a prestigious assignment, a very senior bureaucrat gave exceptionally good increments to a couple of officials, who supposedly could have helped him in getting done his role permanent which he is heading as an ad-hoc arrangement. But someone has spilled the beans with the minister by sending him a mail but by that time some people had already got information about the benefits of increments. Now, the officer is reviewing the appraisal and the permanent position too has gone to someone else.
