The NaMo administration on Wednesday cleared the extension in up-gradation of various Joint Secretary (JS) and Additional Secretary (AS)  posts to the level of Additional Secretary and Secretary-level respectively as follows:

1. The post of CMD, NMDC from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by N Baijendra Kumar (lAS:1985:CG) for term upto 31.07.2020.
2. The post of Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust, from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Sanjay Bhatia (lAS:1985:MH), for term upto 31.07.2020
3. The post of CMD, Food Corporation of India from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by D V Prasad (lAS:1984:KN), for term upto 30.11.2020
4. The post of Secretary, 15th Finance Commission (DEA) from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Arvind Mehta (lAS:1984:HP) for a term up to 30.11.2020;
5. The post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH, presently held by Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFoS:1986:KL) for a term up to 30.06.2021.
6. The post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, presently held by Dharam Pal (lAS:1988:UT) for a term up to 12.10.2020.
7. The post of Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Ms. Ansuli Arya (IAS:1989:BH) for a term up to 20.07.2021.
8. The post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, presently held  S K Dev Verman (lAS:1988:MN) for a term up to 17.03.2021.
9. The post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, presently held by Ms. Juthika Patankar (lAS:1988:UP) for a term up to 01.07.2021.
10. The post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Steel, presently held by Ms. Rasika Chaube, IDAS (1986), for a term up to 08.07.2021.
