New Delhi (17.01.2026): The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is set to conduct selection interviews for the high-profile post of Director (Projects) at SJVN Limited this Monday, January 19. Twelve shortlisted candidates from various public sector undertakings and engineering backgrounds will vie for the leadership role at the Schedule ‘A’ power major.
The critical board-level position has remained vacant since August 1, 2025, creating a leadership gap in the Ministry of Power-controlled PSU. While the vacancy was officially advertised on September 29, 2025, the selection process is now entering its final stretch.
The incoming Director (Projects) will be inherited with a massive mandate, as SJVN—formerly Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam—is currently navigating a transition from a hydro-focused entity to a diversified renewable energy giant with a target of 50,000 MW by 2040.
