For the second consecutive day the public sector headhunter had to Face a situation awkward situation it had no option to select or reject the candidate for Board level position in Central PSU. The selection interview for the post of Director (Finance) in Engineers India Limited (EIL) was scheduled for 27th Sept and the Board interviewed Sunil Bhatia, (Chief Financial Officer), NFL; the only candidate who showed interest in the post. Obviously it become very difficult to select or reject for want of any option. In such a situation the selection would amount to giving the candidate a walkover and rejection would be injustice to the candidate. Further the board decided to see more candidates. It appears that the board would advertise the vacancy afresh.
