Former NIA Chief Sharad Kumar (Retd IPS:1979:HY) appointed as the Vigilance Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission for a term of four years or till he attains the age of sixty five years, whichever is earlier.
He replaces Rajiv (Retd IPS:1975:UP) who completed his tenure in February this year.
