If sources in BEL are to be believed eleven internal candidates are expected to appear for selection interview on May 16 for the post of Director (Marketing) Bharat Electronics Limited. Coinsidentally, all shortlisted internal candidates are GMs namely; R N Bagdalkar, M Vankateswara Gowtama, A Ramalingam, M M Joshi, Mahesh V (Chief Scientist), M M Pandey, Ranjan Banerjee (Chief Scientist), Charan Singh, T N Ramesh, , V K Katyal, S Gopakumar.
The post is scheduled to fall vacant on July 31 this year against the retirement of P C Jain who took over as Director (Marketing) BEL on September 01, 2013.
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence in 1954 to meet the specialized electronic needs of the Indian defence services.
