Santosh Kumar Mohanty (IRS) on Monday took charge as Whole-Time Member, Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for a period of three years. Prior to this elevation, Mohanty served as Executive Director at Sebi from September 2015. He has also served in the Income-Tax Department in various capacities at Kolkata, Nagpur and Mumbai. The existing whole-time members of Sebi are Anant Barua, G Mahalingam and Madhabi Puri Buch.
