2489The Uddhav Thackeray Government appointed Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1984:MH) as the next Chief Secretary of Maharashtra who will take over from Ajoy Mehta (IAS:1984:MH) who will be completing his extended term on June 30. Currently, he is an Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Housing Departments. He will retire in February next year. Handing over the baton to Sanjay Kumar as new Chief Secretary Mehta will take over as the Chief Minister's Principal Advisor from July 1.
