The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on July 12 selected Salil Kumar for the post of Director (Projects), MECON Limited. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval he will replace S Chattopadhyay who completed his tenure in April this year.
As many as 08 candidates appeared for for the selection interview namely; Pradipta Kumar Kar (ED, MECON), Hara Prasad Das (GM, MECON), Goutam Chakraborty (GM, MECON), Dilip Kumar (GM, MECON), Kamal Sarkar (GM, MECON), Raj Narayan Kundu (GM, MECON), Utpal Chakravarty (GM, CMPDIL), Salil Kumar (ED, EPIL) and Bharat Mishra (Aditional GM, NTPC).
