The BJP veterans and members of the Margdarshak Mandal issued a statement decrying party functioning and also giving pep talk to the party leadership to fix the responsibility instead of diluting it by saying that it a collective responsibility. But actually what the BJP veterans have written to the BJP leadership are words of the RSS as its joint general secretary Krishna Gopal who coordinates with the BJP on behalf of the RSS had a long meeting with senior BJP leader Murali Manohar Joshi at his residence on the matter. Reportedly the RSS wants to contain BJP national president Amit Shah for his high-handedness approach and neglecting party workers.
