Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the public sector headhunter may hold the selection interview for the post of CMD, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF), tomorrow. The post has been lying vacant for long. It is further learnt that only three candidates are expected to appear for the interview. One of the prime reasons for a lower number of shortlisted candidates is that, as per the revised guideline, there will be no portability of pool of shortlisted candidates. Earlier if enough candidates were not there in any pool (i.e. internal, sectoral, external etc), the vacant posts could have been filled from the other pool. But the new guidelines restrict and suggest that in case there is not enough internal or sectoral candidate but there are enough number of external candidates, only two will be shortlisted and the slot for internal or sectoral will remain vacant.
