The 1983 batch IAS officer Ms Raj Bala Verma finally replaces Rajiv Gauba as new Chief Secretary to the Govt of Jharkhand. Marking it as concluding day in cadre state Gauba is set to handover the baton to Raj Bala before moving to Delhi to take up tomorrow as Union Secretary, Urban Development. Many senior officers are in the race namely; Raj Bala Verma (IAS:1983), Narsingh Narayan Pandey (IAS:1983), Udai Pratap Singh (IAS:1984) and Amit Khare (IAS:1985).
