Ravindra Narayanan Ravi (former IPS 1976 batch, Kerala cadre) is expected to be new Chairman of Joint Intelligence Committee. Formerly Ajit Lal headed the JIC as Chairman whose tenure ended in July 2014. JIC is the apex intelligence assessment body of the country.
