Chandigarh (12.04.2022): The Punjab government has promoted three IPS officers to DIG rank and has appointed four new senior superintendents of police (SSPs). These officers included:
- Nilambari Vijay Jagdale (IPS: 2008: PB), Rahul S (IPS: 2008: PB) and Bikram Pal Singh Bhatty (IPS: 2008: PB) have been promoted as deputy inspector generals (DIGs).
- Rajpal Sandhu has been appointed as the SSP, Batala
- Avneet Kaur Sidhu will take charge in Faridkot.
- Sandeep Sharma is the new SSP of SBS Nagar.
- Ravi Kumar has been appointed as the SSP, Khanna.
