Chandigarh (09.04.2022): In a major reshuffle, three commissioners of police and five district police chiefs were transferred by the Punjab Government. They included:

• Arun Pal Singh (IPS: 1997: PB) has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.
• Kaustubh Sharma (IPS: 2001: PB) has been given the charge of Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
• Gurpreet Singh Toor (IPS: 2004: PB) has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar.
• Swapan Sharma (IPS: 2009: PB) will be Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jalandhar.
• J Elanchezhian (IPS: 2010: PB) will be SSP Bathinda.
• Deepak Hilori (IPS: 2011: PB) has been appointed as SSP Ludhiana (Rural).
• Gaurav Toora (IPS: 2014: PB) has been appointed as SSP Mansa.
• Bhupinder Singh has been given the charge of SSP Fazilka.
