New Delhi (22.03.2023): Rudra Gaurav Shresth (IFS: 1999) has
been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Rudra Gaurav Shresth was serving as OSD in PMO but was
empanelled to hold Joint Secretary level posts in Government of India on March
11, 2020. Simultaneously, he was appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime
Minister’s Office (PMO) for a tenure upto 09.02.2023. He is expected to take up
the assignment shortly.
