In view of the growing threat of Coronavirus, PM Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the ongoing efforts to contain COVID-19 and discussed ways to further strengthen India’s preparedness including further enhancing testing facilities. PM will address the nation today March 19, 2020 at 8 PM to talk about issues relating to COVID-19 and the efforts to combat it. 
The meeting attended by officials and technicians in which he emphasised on actively engaging with individuals, local communities and organisations in chalking our mechanisms to fight the COVID-19 menace.
He applauded and expressed gratitude to all those at the forefront of combating COVID-19 including various State Governments, medical fraternity, paramedical staff, armed and paramilitary forces, those associated with aviation sector, municipal staff and others.
