The NaMO administration, on Wednesday, cleared the appointment to the post of Chief Vigilance Officer in SEBI, CBSE and various Central PSUs as follows:-

• Giriraj Garg (ITS:1997) appointed CVO, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, under the Department of School Education and Literacy for a period of three years.
• Hemantkumar Ratilal Patel (ITS:2000) appointed CVO, Cotton Corporation of India (CCIL), Mumbai for an initial period of three years under the Ministry of Textiles.
• S S Pendharkar (IDAS:1990) appointed CVO, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) Navi Mumbai for the remaining period of 05 years ending 15 March 2021 which may be extanded upto March 2022. Presently he is working as CVO, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL).
• Vijaya Dat Kagita (IOFS:1996) appointed CVO, Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) Goa under the Ministry of Shipping for an initial period of 3 years
• K Rajendran appointed CVO, Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Koehl for an initial period
• of three years. Presently, he is working as Chief Manager, Power Grid Corporation Limited (PGCIL).
• Venkateswarlu Tirupatl Josyula (IPOS:1994) appointed CVO, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (CPCL), Chennai for an initial period of three years.
• Mahesh Chandra (IRSS:1988) appointed CVO, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDSL), Navi Mumbai for an initial period of three years under the Department of Defence Production.
• Ms. Arti Chhabra Srivastava (IOFS:1990) appointed CVO, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai under the Department of Economic Affairs for an initial period of three years.
• Garima Bhagat (IRS IT:1996) appointed CVO of Employees' State Insurance Corporation ESIC on lateral shif basis for a period ending 30 June 2019 which may be extended up to July 2020 subject to Cadre clearance. Previously she was CVO Project Equipment Corporation (PEC).
