7479Jaipur/New Delhi (02.08.2021): Nina Singh (IPS:1989:RJ) has been appointed as the first woman officer in the state to assume the DG rank. The senior IPS officer earlier served as Additional Director General (ADG) in the state police. She will take the charge of Director General (DG) of Rajasthan Police, Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking. Last year, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) awarded Singh with Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal for her professional excellence. She has also served as Joint Director with CBI and has worked on various important cases including the PNB scam and Nirav Modi. Along with her, ADG, Intelligence, Umesh Mishra has also been promoted as DG, Intelligence.
