NDA needs AIADMK and BJD support to elect its choice of President

The landslide win of BJP in UP and Uttarakhand has narrowed the shortfall of votes the NDA's may need in the electoral college to pick the President of its choice. However, the gap can easily be narrowed if it can strike a deal with one or two non-UPA parties like Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and AIADMK.
The total value of votes for electoral college for Presidential election is 10,98, 882. A simple majority of 5,49,442 is required by the NDA to elect the President of its choice. After the recent elections, the NDA count has risen to 5,29,398, representing a shortfall of 20,044. This gap can be easily bridged by securing the support of AIADMk and BJD whose vote value in the electoral college is 23,584 and 17,433 respectively.
