The NaMo administration right in the mid-night announced the ever biggest bureaucratic reshuffle of its kind. Three IAS officers were posted in the rank of Secretary whereas dozens of IAs officers empanelled as Additional Secretary/Additional secretary Equivalent were were given fresh posting or in-situ upgraded in the rank of AS. Rest of the officers empanelled as AS/AS Equivalent were designated (in-situ) as Additional secretary as a meaure personal to them. Officers appointed & designated as Secretary & Additional Secretary are as follows: Ms Vijaya Srivastava (IAS:1984:MP) designated (In-situ) as Special Secretary, Min of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW). Currently she serves as Additional Secretary, MoHFW. Udai Pratap Singh (IAS:1984:JH) in-situ promoted in the rank of Secretary by temporarily  upgrading the post of Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Ms Nilam Sawhney (IAS:1984:AP) in-situ promoted  in the rank of Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post of Secretary, CVC. Ashok M R Dalwai (IAS:1984:OR) appointed as CEO, National Rainfed Area Authority by upgrading the post to the level of Secretary (Equivalent). Currently he serves as Additional secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare. Anup Wadhawan (IAS:1985:UD) appointed as Additional Secretary, Logistics `in the Ministry of Commerce (the newly created post in Special secretary rank). Currently Wadhawan serves as Additional Secretary, Min of Commerce. J Rama Krishna Rao (IAS1985:BH) appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Minorities in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Currently Rao serves as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence. Sanjiv Gupta (IAS:1985:HP) appointed as CEO, National E-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, by temporarily upgrading the post to the level of Additional Secretary. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP). Ms Usha Sharma (IAS:1985:RJ) Director General, Archaeological Survey of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary (GoI). Currently, she serves as Additional Secretary, Dept of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances. Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi (IAS:1986:BH) appointed as Director General Foreign Trade in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Currently, he is posted as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce with the additional charge of DG, DGFT. Anil Kumar Jain (IAS:1986:MP) appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change vice Shri R.R. Rashmi (IAS:1983:MN). Currently Jain is posted as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog. Nagendra Nath Sinha (IAS:1987:JH) appointed as MD, National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in the rank of Additional Secretary. Currently he serves in the Cadre state of Jharkhand. V P Joy (lAS:1987:KL) Central Provident Fund Commissioner remains in the same post in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary but his post was restored to the earlier level of Additional Secretary.
