Ms Anita Gupta (IRS IT:1981) is all set to be promoted to Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax. Presently she is serving as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT- V) in Chennai.
Reportedly, her name has been cleared in the DPC which held on June 10. The orders of appointment of 26 Principal CCITs are expected by the end of this week.
In a way she will be fortunate to get the Apex Scale right before her scheduled superannuation on June 30, 2015.
