IRTS officer Mohammad Jamshed (IRTS:1979) is being appointed as General Manager (Open-line) North Frontier Railway. In the month of February this year he was appointed Additional Member (Communication & Information System). Prior to that Jamshed served with Railway Board as Adviser (C&IS). He also served as Chief Operating Manager, Northern Railway till January this year. One may recall that despite having eligibility & seniority Jamshed did not get the opportunity to make it as Additional Member Traffic (RB) in February 2015 and he had lost to the hands of Kundan Sinha (IRTS:1980).
