In a sudden development many senior police officers including Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief Mukesh Kumar Meena (IPS:1989:UT) has been shunted out to Andman & Nicobar Islands. He had been at the loggerheads with AAP govt. While Joint CP (Central range) Sunil Kumar Gautam (IPS:1989:UT) has been transferred to Puducherry, Special CP (Traffic) Muktesh Chander (IPS:1988:UT) has been moved to Goa. T N Mohan (IPS:1986:UT), currently posted in Goa will replace Muktesh Chander in Delhi as Spl CP Traffic. S K Gautam will join Delhi Police only after the general elections in Pondicherry are over. Another Jt CP (PM security) Tejendra Singh Luthra (IPS:1990:UT) got his favourite posting in Chandigarh as IGP. Rajender Pal Upadhay (IPS:1991:UT), currently posted as IGP Chandigarh, has been transferred to Delhi. Praveen Rajan (IPS:1993:UT) too has been transferred to Delhi but he too will continue in Pondicherry until general elections are over. V Renganathan too has been brought to Delhi from Goa. Several DCP rank officers have also been transferred including Prem Nath (DCP South Distt Delhi). Prem Nath has been shifted to Mizoram who was handling many high-profile cases including the Sunanda Pushkar death case. Other DCP rank officers who have been transferred are as follows: S N Mossobi, Shweta Chauhan, B K Yadav, Chandan Chaudhary, Ghanshyam Bansal, Usha Rangnani, Pranav Tayal, S K Sain and the present additional DCP of New Delhi district Deepak Gauri. Officers who have been shifted to Delhi include; Esha Pandey, Rajiv Ranjan, R P Meena (to join Delhi Police by Sept 2016 after completion of 03 yrs tenure at Mizoram), Rajneesh Gupta, Devender Arya and Vijayanta Arya (both to join by Aug 2016 after completion of their respective tenure in Arunachal).
