In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Gujarat, senior IAS officer Ms. Sangeeta Singh (IAS:1986:GJ), Special secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, was promoted to Additional Chief Secretary rank. She will handle the same department in ACS rank. As many as 11 IAS officers have been transferred and posted as follows: Ms. Sonal Mishra (IAS:1997) was appointed as Vice Chairman & MD, Gujarat State Transport Corporation vice Vijay Nehra who proceeds on a long-term training abroad. Previously, Ms. Mishra served as MD, Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd Ms. Shahmeena Hussain (IAS:1997) gets additional charge of MD, Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd vice Ms. Sonal Mishra. Ms. Hussain currently serves as MD, Gujarat Green revolution Company Ltd (Vadodara). Ranjeeth Kumar (IAS:2005) was appointed as Collector, Dahod vice L P Padalia (SCS IAS:2005) who is placed under GAD. Dr. Ms. Ratankanwar H Gadhvicharan (IAS:2009) was appointed the Commissioner, Micro & Medium Enterprises, Gandhinagar. It's a newly-created post. She will report directly to Principal Secretary, Industries & Mines Dept. Sandeep Kumar (IAS:2002) was appointed the State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan & Ex-officio Commissioner of Primary Education. Dr. Gaurav Dahiya (IAS:2004) was appointed the Mission Director, National Health Mission, Gandhinagar. In addition, many IAS officers were promoted from SCS and have been transferred to various departments.
