Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the outgoing DGP of Maharashtra Pravin Dixit (IPS:1977:MH) is all set to get three months extension beyond July 31, 2016. He had replaced his batch-mate S S Dayal (IPS:1977:MH) as Maha DGP on October 01, 2015.
According to sources in the Home Department, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis is in favor of giving extension to Dixit.
