Patna (02.06.2023): Where there is a will there's a way proves to be true in the matter of a campaign unleashed against mobile snatching or theft, which is a flourishing illegal business across the country, by Vinay Tiwari (IPS: 2015: BH), SP Samastipur. Tiwari started a concerted campaign not only to stop it but to recover and return them to the owner. This is not only making owners of the phone happy but helping curb the menace. His strategy to nab these criminals is being replicated by others as well. From January 2023 up to this date, mobile phones worth Rs 1 crore were recovered and handed over to their legal owners. Motorbikes and other such goods were also recovered in the bargain.
