With the Karnataka High Court on Monday setting aside the judgment of the Bengaluru bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal, IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri Dasari is all set to reclaim her post as Deputy Commissioner of Hassan district in the state. On March 7, 2018, the CAT's Bengaluru bench had upheld the transfer of Rohini Sindhuri as commissioner of Employment and Training by the then Siddaramaiah government. Following the Karnataka High Court over ruling the judgment of the CAT, the state government headed by H D Kumaraswamy has agreed to re-transfer Rohini Sindhuri to Hassan district as its Deputy Commissioner. In her argument, the IAS officer had said that she was transferred at the behest of then state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as she stopped the illegal sand mining in the district.
