Chandigarh (28.01.2022): Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreyahas appointed retired IAS officer Jyoti Arora as one of the Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission, Haryana. She is a 1987 batch IAS officer of the Haryana Cadre. The Governor has also authorized Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to administer the oath of allegiance to her. Jyoti Arora will be taking oath of office at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh on January 28, 2022. Arora is the wife of present Health and Home secretary Rajiv Arora. She served both the state and the Central governments before retiring from Chandigarh.
