New Delhi (11.11.2024): Justice Sanjiv Khanna,
known for several landmark Supreme Court judgements - such as scrapping of
electoral bonds scheme and upholding the scrapping of Article 370 - has sworn in as 51st Chief Justice of India today. The oath of office was administered
by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhawan. Justice Khanna
succeeds Justice D Y Chandrachud and his tenue will extend till May 13, 2025.
