New Delhi (31.08.2023): The ACC appointed Jaya Verma Sinha (IRTS) as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO & CRB) of Railway Board for a period ending 31.08.2024. She replaces Anil Kumar Lahoti who is retiring today. Currently, she is Member (Operations & Business Development), Railway Board. She will function as CRB w.e.f. 01.09.2023 till her retirement date i.e. 30.09.2023 and further on the basis of re-employment w.e.f. 01.10.2023 till 31.08.2024. It may be underlined that she registers herself as first lady Chairman of the Railway Board in more than 150 years long journey of Indian Railway.
