The Chhattisgarh Government has reinstated the 2002 batch IPS officer KC Agrawal who was sent on forced retirement.

Following the central administrative tribunal quashing the central and state governments order on termination of Agrawal, he has been reinstated from the date of retirement given to him. “His seniority has to be maintained”, the CAT has ruled.

Meanwhile, Agrawal has assumed his duties and was also present in the Chhattisgarh State Assembly on Thursday.
