HCL launches platform for Micro Enterprise of Copper artisans; ‘Iconic Week’ of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava

1051Kolkata (15.07.2022): Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) on Friday launched a platform to promote micro-enterprises in various user segments of copper in Kuilisuta village at the Copper Club of Indian Copper Complex (ICC), Ghatsila, District - Purvi Singhbhum Jharkhand, in observance of the iconic week of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Arun Kumar Shukla, CMD, HCL, graced the launching programme virtually from HCL’s corporate headquarters in Kolkata. Sanjay Panjiyar, D(OP), HCL, Sanjiv Kumar Singh, D(M), HCL, Balwinder Singh Canth, Independent Director, HCL, along with Unit Heads, dignitaries and other senior officials were welcomed to the ICC Copper Club. They were felicitated with a ceremonial shawl and bouquets of flowers. While inaugurating the platform to promote micro-enterprises for craftsmen in various user segments of Copper, with a mission to foster self-reliance and enhance livelihood opportunities among the local populace HCL CMD took a conscious call to patronize this artistic legacy of Jharkhand that provides job opportunities to many.
