The outgoing GAIL CMD Bhuvan
Chandra Tripathi has reportedly been denied extension. He is all set to
complete ten years long term as CMD on 31.07.2019. The proposal for his extension upto retirement (i.e. 31.01.2020) was
lying in ACC for a couple of months. Reportedly, Dr Ashutosh Karnatak may hold the additional charge of CMD, GAIL after Tripathi will complete his term on 31.07.2019.

The outgoing GAIL CMD Bhuvan Chandra Tripathi has reportedly been denied extension. He is all set to complete ten years long term as CMD on 31.07.2019. The proposal for his extension upto retirement (i.e. 31.01.2020) was lying in ACC for a couple of months.Â
