Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari will present the
‘National Highways Excellence Awards’ to outstanding performers in the NH
sector on January 14, 2020 in New Delhi. There are total seven categories of
the award. Awards were instituted by the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways in 2018 which decided to make the National Highways Excellence Awards
an annual feature looking at the overwhelming response. The objective is to
recognise companies performing exceptionally well in the construction,
operations, maintenance and tolling stages of highway development and road safety. It also aims at creating a spirit
of healthy competitiveness amongst stakeholders.
