New Delhi (02.03.2022): Based on the seniority the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday granted Apex (Pay) Scale to four DG rank IPS officers serving at Centre retiring next year. They are;
- Mohammad Taj Hassan (IPS:1987:UT)- DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (retiring December 2023)
- Santosh Mehra (IPS:1987:AP)- DG (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission (retiring February 2023)
- Arun Kumar Sinha (IPS:1987:KL)- Director, Special Protection Group (retiring May 2023)
- Sanjay Chander (IPS:1987:WB)- DG, Railway Protection Force (retiring July 2023).
