The public-sector headhunter (PESB) on May 14, 2019 selected
Dhirendra Singh Rana for the post of
CMD, Engineering Projects (India) Limited. Rana, 1986 batch officer of Indian
Railway Service of Engineers, has been serving as Director (Infra) DFCCIL since
October 2014. Subject to CVC clearance and ACC approval he may be appointed
CMD, EPIL. Altogether, eight candidates were interviewed by the selection board.
It may be mentioned that EPIL CMD post fell vacant after S P S Bakshi was suspended following his arrest by CBI in a bribery case on March
20, 2017.
